I have been lucky enough to have had varied careers in banking, education and through running my own businesses, which has allowed me to develop my skills as a leader, business coach and management consultant. In 2003, I led operational excellence activity across the International Banking at Barclays - implementing award-winning programmes using lean process improvement techniques, an area I continue to find fascinating. In 2005, I moved with my family to the South West and over 8 years as a Director in Further Education built up my extensive business networks - a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Since becoming a management consultant in 2013, I have worked with organisations in the voluntary and charity sector, education and training, finance, marketing, logistics, manufacturing and engineering, business services, and the public sector. I am an accredited mental health coach, an experienced and qualified trainer and an experienced public speaker. During lockdown, I started a charity which supports socially isolated groups and am now building a domiciliary care business. With my wife, I also run a popular co-working space in East Devon which is also my personal sanctuary!
